Professionally trained Mandie Molyneux has almost thirty years workshop experience, training other artists in workshop facilitation, lecturing and teaching in universities, along with curating and hanging exhibitions in mainstream galleries.

After receiving a BA Hons in Fine art/printmaking at Winchester School of Art, she went on to achieve an MA in Photography at The London School of Printmaking.

However she became far more interested in the physical and mental benefits, that taking part in any art based activity has on wellbeing and confidence, and gradually found herself being immersed in bringing art based activities to the community, (Co) setting up the Charity Artscape in 2004.

Having partnered with local open air museums and the SDNPA on a variety of projects, Mandie has rekindled a passion for creating with foraged natural materials and continues to enjoy learning and practising new skills that she relishes in sharing.

The Shack Out the Back is a tiny brick built Studio at the bottom of her slightly wild garden, in the heart of Southsea, where she enjoys facilitating small bespoke workshops, or for larger groups in natural settings.
